Slow Made Leather by Didem Kurtoglu

Bordeaux, France — a place where fashion heritage is deeply rooted. Here, I am building a timeless atelier, a space devoted to crafting pieces that resist seasons and fleeting trends.

My aim is to expose the authenticity of a person through a design that has emerged after many trials and reflections on style, until one perfect piece is born. Each bag and accessory is slow-made to be cherished more each day, destined to last for many years — or perhaps lifetimes.

Every piece is refined to achieve maximum style and comfort, so you will never feel the need to replace it with next season’s trend. This is my way of offering sustainability — creating objects that grow with you rather than wear out.

Working with leather felt natural — a material that connects history, culture, and craft. Inspired by different ages of costume history, geography, and the artisanry of leather, I merge 90's rom-com culture and ancient-inspired art with the present, shaping them into one handcrafted work.

Before founding my atelier, I spent years working as a stylist and costume designer in fashion magazines and television. That experience shaped my vision, but stepping into my own path as a designer allowed me to root my work in what I truly value: time, craft, and authenticity.
